Projects
First Person Survival Horror
A horror project where the player solves puzzles in a spaceship while evading a monster. A revamp of a school project and partly inspired by Amnesia the Bunker. The goal was to make an interesting interior area and create engaging gameplay scenarios and situations for the player to take part in
Stealth FPS
This was a personal project completed by myself. I did the game design and level design for this project. Inspired by 007 Nightfire, the player navigates an office building with an open layout that allows for multiple ways of navigating the space and making their way to the objective. The player also has access to a few gadgets to help them get through the level.
Candypocalypse
This was a school project, completed as part of a 6 person team. I did level design and game design, particularly designing the gameplay and how it plays and should feel I also designed a boss fight at the end. The combat was designed to be fast, and facilitate fighting multiple enemies at once, main mechanic is a "Sugar Meter", a risk/reward system that powers the player up, but leaves them weak afterwards.
The Root of All Evil
This was a Game Jam project, completed as a 3 person team. I served as the game designer on this project. The theme of the event was "roots" so my intention was to make a project that was reminiscent of old school survival horror games such as Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil. combat and gameplay reflect this by being slow and cumbersome to reinforce a feeling of anxiety and horror with the gameplay.
Ashes of Equestria
Fallout inspired open world RPG based on a fan fiction. I work with a moderately sized volunteer team. I have contributed game design and level design to the project. Most of the game design work is contained in extensive documentation, Ive also done production work in this project. Website: The Overmare Studios
